CHEVAL TV partners with THEMA to develop its distribution in France and abroad
THEMA, a subsidiary of the CANAL+ Group, is pleased to announce its partnership with CHEVAL TV in order to support the VOD content publisher, specialized in equestrian sports and the equine world, in the creation of its linear television channel and its distribution, particularly in France, the European Union, Switzerland and Canada.
This partnership was sealed in the presence of Mr. Serge Lecomte, President of the French Equestrian Federation, who is delighted with this new window of opportunity for equestrian sports in particular and horse in general.
CHEVAL TV's editorial offer (linear and non-linear content) will be organized around equestrian sports (national and international competitions with jumping, cross-country and dressage) which will be offered live on weekends, but also around lifestyle and tutorials dedicated to a very committed community. CHEVAL TV will also benefit from a partnership with MERAPI PRODUCTIONS, which will be in charge of the production and linear broadcasting of the channel, thanks to its expertise in the production of flow and stock content.

About CHEVAL TV
Launched in April 2018, CHEVAL TV is an A-VOD platform that broadcasts live several hundred hours of equestrian competitions (national as well as international) to then offer them on VOD (website and apps) to its 140,000-member community. In 2021, CHEVAL TV will produce content for broadcast on the SPORT EN FRANCE channel (the French National Olympic and Sports Committee channel). Based on the success of its content with the sports community, CHEVAL TV decided to launch its own linear TV channel in 24/7 mode.
